People who have a background in any Arts education program
are more likely to succeed. More and more colleges and
employers are looking for people who have taken some class
in the Arts field. What are Arts Education Programs you
ask? They are Music Art, Singing, Dancing, Writing, and
even Photography. Why do colleges and employers look for
people with an Arts Education? Here's why:

Students gain a new ability to learning.

Art education develops real world learning experiences.

An education in the arts increase your abstract thinking
and logic.

Improve test scores and learning ability

Music education programs have produced the best results out
of the all the education programs. Many people are still
amazed by the results that music programs create. Here's
what music can do.

Students who took a music education course scored higher on
their SATs, report by the College-Bound Seniors says.
Students scored 53% higher on the verbal test and 39%
higher on the math test.

Most Early Childhood schools give their students piano
lessons rather than computer education training. It shows
that a child's thinking process increases more playing the
piano than learning on a computer.

The University of California did a test on inner city kids.
They gave them intense music education classes in hopes of
raising test scores. Their expectations were exceeded! Not
only did they improve test scores, but the inner city kids
tested better in math by 33.1% better than Suburban kids.

Now let's see what other arts education programs can do.

To help delinquent kids struggling in school, the U.S.
Department of Justice created the Youth ARTs Education
Development program to help them stay in school and get
better grades. Due to the education programs. the students
behavior calmed down and they enjoyed going to school.

Students who are in a Theatre class had a better
understanding of complex material, like a physics book.
Because most of the theatre students were studying
Shakespeare's text, the actors were able to understand more
difficult reading assignments.

It is hard to ignore the results brought in on education
and the Arts. Arts education is needed for any child to
fully grow and become an adult.
